The Heartless Winter

This will put a knot in your stomach. This will put you on the edge of your seat with the romantic tragedy that is all mystery. This is an unbelievably sad romance that leaves you breathless… And impressed. The emotion the author puts into the narrator is exquisite. Emotional plot overall and I love how descriptive the author was with it all.

I would have never have guessed where the author would take the plot. It kept me hooked for it’s far from predictable. Simply amazing. It is a romance like Romeo & Juliet. A true classic, but the author knows how to add her own originality to it. That alone I admire and applaud. I also like the paranormal sides of the story.

Only thing wrong with this is a few small spelling errors and paragraphs that needed not to be separated. The final page was a bit confusing when it started to repeat what was on the first page, but I personally think it was a creative touch. Other than that the only sad thing is that it’s a short story. You crave more from this author. To pack so much plot and emotion into a short story is impressive.

When you start to read this, it’s not like other stories where you figure out what will happen after a few paragraphs. The hints in this story are so indirect it leaves you wondering what happened to his lover. He tells us he killed her when really he… Go read it for yourself. It will leave you guessing until the last sentence.
